The maker
AKO is not a workshop. It is a point of view — built over years of working across sound, image, and material.
It began with sound. Years of engineering and music technology shaped a simple rule: every decision on an AKO instrument — body, hardware, electronics — starts with how it will sound.
Then came the image. Working with video and visual design set a second rule: the instrument must earn its place in a room before a single note is played.
"I didn't set out to make guitars. I set out to make something I couldn't find anywhere else."
Every AKO instrument is additively manufactured — bodies, inlays and details printed layer by layer, then assembled and finished by hand. Even the pickups are wound in-house, voiced specifically for each instrument.
AKO Custom Guitars was established in 2026 in Turkey. Each instrument is a commission. There are no stock pieces.
